design

It all starts with CAD (Computer-Aided Design), where every detail of the product is carefully modeled in 3D. This step lets us create complex, custom designs with precision, ensuring that what we envision on screen turns into a flawless, real-world piece. Whether it’s intricate latticework or seamless geometry, CAD allows us to push boundaries that traditional manufacturing just can’t reach.

Next comes the magic: the LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) process. In this stage, a high-powered laser melts fine layers of metal powder, building up the product one layer at a time. The result is a super precise, incredibly detailed piece with complex shapes that would be impossible to create any other way. LPBF also gives our products an ultra-fine microstructure, making them not just beautiful, but also stronger and more durable.

unpack

Once the LPBF process is complete, the newly printed part is carefully unpacked from the surrounding metal powder. This step involves gently brushing away the loose powder, revealing the product that’s been built layer by layer. The leftover powder can even be recycled for future prints, making the process efficient and sustainable. Unpacking the part is like uncovering a hidden masterpiece – the fine details, intricate shapes, and smooth surfaces emerge, showing the precision and strength that 3D printing with metal offers.

refine

The result? Strong, detailed products that are ready for the next step—post-processing. Whether it’s polishing, sharpening, or anodising, this phase adds the final touches, ensuring every product is not just functional, but also refined and ready to go.
